Oozy Rat in a Sanitary Zoo…

Pasted Graphic

Are we the architects of our own destinies? So many things in our lives manifest as cycles… even our paths through the relationships we form and grow, here and elsewhere, cycle through a life seeming sometimes their own.

We begin and end our lives rocking in cribs and chairs, being taken care of, surviving on the edge of understanding and even, dare I say?… in diapers.

For me, it is the loss of ‘snack’ that strikes me as most invasive as we cycle through our formative years. Nary a kindergartener goes through a day without it. Yet it disappears for years through the balance of our development. The amazing thing is that I rarely attend a meeting these days that does not have (or at least allow) ‘snack’ in some form. Needless to say, I need snack a lot less now than I did in algebra.

Does it really matter which way we are moving if we find ourselves at the same, ‘right’ place at the same, ‘right’ time? If this is an argument for the safe exercise of a brief, passionate tryst, it is unpremeditated. Nonetheless, it does set apart those few truly beautiful palindromic intersections that do not diverge in time and space.

Enjoy…
