What is the that strange square "bar code" at the right side of the page?

The square pattern of dots on the right side of most of our pages is a new type of 2-dimensional bar code call a "Quick Response" or QR Code.



Originally created by Denso-Wave, a subsidiary of Toyota, in 1994, the QR code not only can represent a larger amount of embedded information than a traditional bar code, its unique, innate error correction capacity allows it to be scanned at a significantly greater rate than traditional bar codes.

QR Codes come in a variety of sizes and can be easily read by a scanner or even a smartphone camera utilizing one of many free scanning applications. Currently the QR Code on our home page represents our company's contact information including name, web address, email and phone number.
