TOGO MEDIA, LLC CHOSEN AS 2009 “COMPANY TO WATCH”
TOGO Media, LLC has been chosen by the Connecticut Technology Council as a 2009 Company to Watch as part of the Third Annual Cantor Colburn CAAT Innovation Pipeline Awards

OLD GREENWICH, CT—September 2, 2009—TOGO Media, LLC has been selected by the Connecticut Technology Council as a 2009 Company to Watch in recognition of its unique technology. School-ToGo.com changes the way parents, students and teachers communicate and collaborate. TOGO Media’s School-ToGo.com project is the first to allow educators to recommend a diverse universe of educational resources that directly support the education of their students as well as offer students and parents an opportunity to obtain these resources quickly and inexpensively. The Connecticut Technology Council, the State’s industry association for the technology sector, annually recognizes companies with sales under $5 Million, an innovative product or service and a business model that demonstrates potential for future success.

TOGO Media's CEO, Mark E. Strauss, attributes this honor to the desire of all parents to support their children, the unique dedication and input from educators around the world and the seemly limitless energy of its talented staff and management team. “Learning doesn’t need to stop when our children leave the classroom”, enthusiastically affirms Strauss. “So often, as parents, it’s difficult to know how to best support our children’s education. School-ToGo.com lets your own teachers help!”

Unlike existing paradigms, however, School-ToGo.com uses a sophisticated user interface to protect students from any commercialism. “Students and parents see only what their own teachers select to share”, says Strauss, the designer of the technology.
